Montgomery Parks invites the public to a meeting to review the Outdoor Tennis Court Use Permit Park Directive following a one-year pilot of changes. The park directive was modified in February 2017 to provide greater access and flexibility for court use.  Park Directive changes include:

  • Removal of time limitations for court use and reservations
  • Uniform permitting guidelines for practices, games and tournaments
  • Designating a specific number of courts for practices, games and tournaments so that general-use public courts are always available
  • Revision of tennis instruction guidelines
  • Providing courts which are accessible

Public input will be collected during the meeting and later shared with the Planning Board during a staff presentation at a Planning Board meeting in May 2018. The specific date and time of the presentation will be posted under the agenda link on the www.MontgomeryPlanningBoard.org web page closer to the date of the meeting.
